The Home of Hats

Recognised Worldwide for designing and making beautiful hats, Lock & Co hold great historical significance as London’s oldest shop. However, their online presence was dated and did not reflect their brand.

Being in the shop itself feels like stepping back in time into a different world – one filled with charm. We wanted to give online customers the same experience, to see the quirks of the building, the history of the hat making and the incredibly warm and talented team behind the brand.

The new Shopify store feels luxurious and adds elements of clever content and usability alongside the ecommerce pages that persuade the customer and allows them to explore the brand. To balance this, and add an approachability, the site also includes commissioned and art-directed photography and videography.

The site is already recording a major uplift in online sales since launch.
